What We Do
In this section: small groups | community meetings | perspective
Small Groups
Small Groups are the most important part of IVCF. They offer a chance for everyone to be challenged and grow with a tight knit group of people. It allows you to share what is really going on in your life with people who will commit to pray and care for you. It also gives everyone a chance to ask some of those hard questions they have always wanted to ask. Descriptions of the small groups offered each term can be found on our website.
Community Meetings
Our community meetings are a chance for fellowship and teaching. CM's are nights filled with powerful worship and prayer, as well as a speaker to challenge us in our walk with God. The time after the "official" meeting has finished is also an excellent chance to get to know others from all over the Ryerson community.
Perspective
This is the second year Inter-Varsity has hosted the Perspective dinner and discussion nights. These nights are not just for Christians, but for everyone. The night will begin with dinner, following which a speaker will present a concept or idea. We will then discuss this with the people at the table. Topics can be anything from themes in a TV show or movie clip to a variety of current events. The discussion will be non-threatening and unbiased, allowing everyone an opportunity to share their "perspective" on the topic.
